AMEN!! My downturned eyes just discovered you!!! I’m not new to makeup, but took many years off and decided to come back and try again! It’s been discouraging because of my eye shape, I just never liked wearing shadows etc and all my friends eyes always looked perfect! So I completely stopped wearing it. Now I’m back, a bit older (43) but still want to look young, awake and look like I know somewhat of what im doing! 😂 Anyway, these tips in this video and the others I’ve viewed so far are wonderful! TY so much! I’m now a subscriber and look forward to learning!! ❣️😊

Your eyes are beautiful! Thank you for sharing this technique and explaining it so fully and well. I have always had a problem with my eyeliner "wing" looking like it's going downward on one of my eyes, I never realized my eyes are downturned for 100 percent until this video. I think just hearing downturned has a bad connotation, like it's ugly, but I've always wanted bigger eyes. It is funny to me because you keep saying "you hope you are explaining yourself well" and you are explaining it PERFECTLY to really understand! This is the first video of yours I have watched, but I have subscribed and plan on watching more. I also love how you explain it in an intelligent articulate manner. I prefer not to feel like I have to listen to a superficial bimbo type girl to get good makeup tutorials. It's definitely a form of art and a true artists loves it for all the depth and creativity involved in the process, not just the final result of "looking hot" which so many of these KZbin bloggers seem to do. I guess what I'm trying to say is your aren't another pretty girl who is decent at makeup. You are a talented professional. A true artist. And a classy person. You are in another league than a lot of these KZbin beauty bloggers. I think it's a real treat to watch free videos from an actual gifted artist!! 👍👍👍❤️❤️

The technique is a good one and I can imagine it works for a lot of others for downturned eyes, but this didn't work for me. My eyes are a lot more hooded than yours so the wing still ends up looking downturned when I'm looking straight ahead. I stopped wearing eyeliner sometime last year when I realised how unflattering it looks on me. I've been searching for so long for a technique I can use that compliments my hooded, downturned eyes but still have yet to find one. Nonetheless, thank you for sharing this!
@Rp101018 жыл бұрын
Shannen Carter I agree. this technique is great for some hooded eyes but mine are only droopy/ hooded on the outer corners so when I open my eyes half the wing is folded in the hood . :(

Yes, omg! I have really downturned eyes (more significant than yours), and anytime I do a wing, it just looks wrong. The problem was that I was doing it with my eye closed! I can't wait to try this out tomorrow. I do have a question-when you start the wing, are you starting it from your upper lash line, lower lash line, or between the two? It's hard to see in the video.

🌸I wanted to share something I would LOVE to see a video on. One thing about my face that has always made me self conscious is that one of my eyes is set a tiny bit higher on my face than the other. Most people don't notice it, or at least don't say something about it, but to a makeup artist I'm sure it would jump out to you. I have been trying to learn makeup tricks with my brow shaping and eye makeup to make them appear more symmetrical. I also have down turned eyes. I've got blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin, so I have to be careful on how dark I go with shaping a brow. Surely other girls have this issue??? If you think its common enough to spend your time on a video on how to create an illusion of more symmetrical eyes I would LOVE IT!! And be so grateful🙏!!!
