Check the tension of that particular needle, if it's too tight you can reduce it. If it's still cutting change the needle.

Five thread and taping machine are different and are used for different purpose. I got mine from Idumota Lagos. If you need a contact I can be of help

You will have to buy another plate for outer weaving. You can't use the same plate for both there is a little difference in the two. Anytime you want to do outside weaving you change it. I will work on making video on that.

You can only use the five threads or three threads. You can't use four threads on it.

Since it's a new machine the person that installed it probably made a mistake. You will have to get a technician and if the problem persists, I will advice you return it early.

4 threads works perfectly on stretchy materials although it only weave it but 5 threads sews and weaves at the same time.

It depends on the purpose, if you want to go into t-shirt, street wears, polo and the likes you go for 4 threads.

3 threads does inner weaving, 4 threads does polo weaving while 5 threads sews and weaves at the same time.

My experience with Two Lion has been wonderful because all my machines are Two Lion, both direct drive and the motorized. I have not used Emel before so I can't say much about it.
