Thank you for a great video, the pace was just right for me. I haven't been sewing long and bought a starter machine to see how I got on, luckily I enjoyed and and decided to treat myself to a new machine. My lovely new Brother A150 arrived today 🥰. Can't wait to get started.

Thanks for this demo, I was having a few woes getting the tension on the upper and lower thread 👍

You are welcome. Brother support is very hard to get through to which is why I have focused on some tutorials about this machine as I find reading instruction manuals very dry and complicated. Let me know how your sewing adventures go. My Instagram is @wemadeitbitches

You're welcome Leonie. I am slowly adding lessons about this machine so if you have any questions I will answer them here or if it's better to do a video, I will do that. Hope your sewing adventures are rewarding. Irene

WeMadeIt Sewing Sustainably I was very blessed and got it for my birthday after hinting hugely. 😀 I’m not much good with written instructions so that’s why I went to KZbin. Next to the stitch width it shows a zigzag but it is in straight stitch. So that confuses me. I’m not really sure what other stitches I will use, I’m a bit overwhelmed with that. I know I’d like to do blind hemming on my stretch pants and stretch skirt.... Any tips with this lovely machine appreciated. Thank you.

@@leonier3282 I am not that great with written instructions either. Watch the full video on did on this machine, it is a fantastic walkthrough with the basics of what you need with it. Stitches 1-9 you just have to push them to get them to work. But go through the How To Set Up the A150, that shows you everything from Buttonhole set up to the awesomeness of stitch 7, great if you don't have an overlocker and need to sew pants or strong seams. The top tension should always be 4 unless you are doing thicker fabrics, but don't worry I have a video that I am just finishing off the editing for and walk you through all the needles and tension settings for the different fabrics. All the sewing lessons that I am publishing on my channel is all on the Brother A150, we usually show the minor settings on each project. Trust me, watching it a few times will take you from overwhelming to it clicking in your head. I understand how your feeling now, I felt like that in the beginning of the year and now it feels like my right arm. You will get there too.

WeMadeIt Sewing Sustainably thank you, I shall watch and I shall wait for your next video. 🌺I do have an overlocker but sometimes I could throw it over the back fence when it comes to threading ☺️
