Hi Joel, I need to ask that if we can use auto refresher extension in browser to keep our account online? Is it recommended or not? Will it impact the account or not? Thanks in advance!

Hi Joel, Hope you're doing well. I'm having a bit of trouble understanding the percentages from the "repeat buyers" tab. Basically, I came to the conclusion that it can be to the buyer's disadvantage if he has MORE clients. (please correct me if I'm wrong) So if you have: ONLY 10 buyers and they order your gig more than once, you will have a 100% repeat business score (10/10 buyers re-order your gig). but if you have 100 buyers, and only 10 of them order your gig more than once, you will have a 10% repeat business score (1/10 buyers re-order your gig). So basically the guy with only 10 clients will get the trust badge, while the person with 100 clients won't? Let me know what you think. Thank you,

Today I won a battle with a problematic buyer and got payed. The good thing about this is that I made the buyer realise he was not right while keeping the conversation as professional as possible until he gave up.
@JoelTalks2 жыл бұрын
That’s a huge win! Knowing how to handle these situations can only come from experience. Now you’re more prepared for the future!

I WAS STILL WATCHING 😂 By the way, if there were a sixth ability, I would say you need to know how numbers work! It's essential to understand how much you'll need to pay in taxes, how much you need to charge, how much time you're putting into something, how much it costs to live, etc. When I first started freelancing, I was on top of the world, thinking I was making so much extra cash, not realizing how much I spent on supplies, how much I'd have to pay in taxes, and how much time I was spending on some jobs I was charging too little for (making only $5 an hour, not realizing it)! I guess this could fall under the work and plan points, but I would say ability number six is to understand finances. :)

Ha ha…glad to hear your watched to the end! You are so right about that. I’ve known a lot of talented people that couldn’t keep their numbers straight, and went out of business!

Thankyou Joel, as always great content and information. i got a question about fiverr. A month ago i was promoted to level 1 seller. and since then i got no order or new messages from client. i even lower my price a bit due to low demand for my gig but still no order. i'm running a Digital illustration gig and character design stuff. is there anything i should do or shouldn't do to fix this?
@JoelTalks2 жыл бұрын
Hey there! I think Fiverr as a whole is experiencing some slow times. I have a video about what you can try when things are slow…but I may make an updated one soon. Stay tuned!

Loved the tips! I have one fiverr related question. What is better for your account? Getting direct order on gigs or getting orders through custom offer? If a buyer contacts me first, should I send him a custom offer or ask him/her to buy from my gig page?
@JoelTalks2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Glad you’re enjoying the videos :) I don’t believe Fiverr cares whether an order comes from the order page or a custom offer. Sales and reviews are all the matter. For instance, 95%+ of all my orders come through custom offer.

hey! I don't know if you've already answered this question or made a video! but how to manage the "overbooked" my order with the longest delivery foresees 7 days ... but I found myself with about 15 orders to be delivered in the same week ... I also know that setting the gig to "overbooked" is not good for the profile ... what to do can you do to not end up in this situation and not go crazy?

Thank you Joel for these great tips. Joel, I really need your help. Today, yet another buyer made me cancel the order even though I followed all the guidelines and delivered quality work. This is the second time it has happened to me. It really hurts. In situations like these, I always feel trapped. Either the dishonest buyer will force you to cancel the order after delivery or leave you an unfavorable review as an act of revenge if you disagree. Please advice how to tackle such things?
@JoelTalks2 жыл бұрын
Glad you are enjoying the videos. It sounds like you are attracting the wrong kind of customers. That’s probably because your prices are too low or something about the way your marketing yourself as attracting people who want more for less. Figure out a way to qualify your clients so that there are Better people on the other end of your transactions. That’s the only way to stop things like this from happening.

i haven't received any orders for a month now , can a service die? if not what's wrong and what can i do to get the orders going like before? currently at 55 completed orders & level 2 , but things got very slow
@JoelTalks2 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that. I guess a service could die, but it doesn’t seem likely that it would just die all at once. Was this a gradual decline?

Hey! I am a top rated seller and this past month has been awful for me too... I went from getting 4-10 new messages a day to NOTHING... Days with NO new messages...I wish I knew what was going on. I started lowering my prices to see if that would help...But it's pretty CRAZY! I was on my way to getting 5K a month and now I have NO new orders lined up for next week... Legit scary!
@JoelTalks2 жыл бұрын
I totally get that. Even my sales have significantly dropped over the past month. Fiverr as a whole is a bit sore right now, but I’m guessing it will pop back up this summer!
