I have been having trouble spinning the yo-yo and counter weight in sinc when releasing and catching the counterweight. It’s usually either one or the other, and I don’t know how to get it right. Could you please make a follow up video on this, or tell me which video addresses this?

how do I prevent the counterweight from coming back at high speed and hitting my hand, making it feel really painful, is there anyway I can slow the counterweight down when moving it, so it's easier to catch and doesn't hurt me

If you do the motions larger then everything will move a little slower. That being said, if you catch the counterweight in your hand the right way it shouldn't hurt anyway, because it is landing in the soft part of your palm.

The moment the yoyo comes close to your hand you move your hand back, so the speed of the yoyo in relation to your hand will be lower. Which in term softens the impact a bit.

Which yo yo is a better beginner yo yo. The canon or the freehand. I would really love to get the canon yo yo (because it would be my first metal yo yo) But if the freehand is better for a beginner, I would choose that.

So far the Canon has proved extremely durable. I have used it more than the Freehand and really punished it, and it still plays like new. So far my Freehand still plays perfectly as well, but I have not tested it nearly as much.

You can do 5a with a responsive yoyo. The only problem with this is that it will make the tricks more difficult to learn because the yoyo will not be as forgiving.

@@lumpy8503 Had the same problem. I figured it out: Don't catch it like it's shown in the video. Instead, catch it with your palm facing outwards, so that your thumb points downwards and to your body and your indexfinger to the ground and away from your body (if the yoyo is coming from the bottom). When throwing 1a, you also twist your wrist to catch the yoyo (from facin upwards to facing downwards) and you need to do the same for 5a. It bugged me for the entire last week, why my yoyo sometimes worked as intended and sometimes it didn't.

I though the little die that came with it was just for decoration. I had no idea it was part of the yo-yo. So my question is.
