Having watched a good share of disc golf technique videos over the years I have to say you are a very talented teacher and do an excellent job of breaking stuff down to the essentials.

Thanks. I try and keep my content simple along with trying to provide the feel. I felt like a lot of content creators in the past left that part out while others did a better job. Thanks for watching and share the content if you don't mind. It would help out the channel. Stay tuned for more to come.

Tony, I’ve watched a ton of KZbin content and never heard the wrist angle explained that way. Can’t wait to get out and practice this. Main goal for 2025 is to get nose angle in the negative, so I can’t wait to watch the remaining videos. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the reply Richard, I hope it helps, let me know what your goals are and maybe we can help with that. Thanks again, share the content with your friends. It would help out the channel.

Thank you for breaking it down in easy to understand terms. I joke every time I throw a nose up shot the I didn’t supinate enough. I pronated too much. That makes me focus on the wrist. I think the way you explained it using the hand makes more of a connection. Thank you! Great video.

Thanks for the comment Richard, I agree. Breaking content down in easier terms helps us remember what we need to focus on. Its great to know the science behind our movements but keeping it simple helps me when I am on the tee. Thanks for watching.

Thinking push the elbow out is so much better for me than push the shoulder forward/out! Makes it easy, thanks!

Same here, we already have a lot to think about when setting up. Why not keep it simple. Thanks for watching.

Tony I’ve heard pouring the tea, but have never heard about angling your wrist forward! Can’t wait to try this!

Thanks for the comment, Jeff. I've had this issue for a while and once the arm is locked, the focus is only on the wrist for me. It helps a lot and I hope it helps everyone else.

I throw my TechDisc into a net in my basement every day. My nose angle improved when I focused instead on my launch angle. (Thanks, Robbie C.) To get launch angle right I found a target BEYOND the net--a spot on the wall fifteen feet away I imagine is a bush as tall as I am. That shift in my mind helped greatly. (But I still have trouble with inconsistent hyzer.)

Good stuff!

Nose down is relative to launch angle. All distance shots are nose up compared to the ground. Overthrow says 4-6° nose up compared to the ground is ideal. An example of that would be achieving a -4° nose angle by throwing a 10° launch angle with 6° nose angle relative to the ground. The key is throwing the disc higher than the nose is aimed.

Hey Stuart, this can be tough. Every time I pulled my elbow up, my shoulder raised as well. It just takes time. If it's low for you, just try and get it a bit higher. The more you do this, the easier it will get.
