Only problem i find with using the tubing on the shank is if you have been done, then that rig is now sitting out there ineffective, and most time youd have no idea. Personally i think having a rig that if its been picked up and ejected by a carp (which happens very often), you want it to be presented effectively again for the next carp that picks it up

We don't have these tubes and rig rings in US, have to order them from UK and they take forever to arrive.

Can you use fluorocarbon instead of the braid?
@rhyspullinger_nt7 жыл бұрын
Lily Greenway you probably could but it would not be as good if you used braid
@thomasthetankengine22577 жыл бұрын
Lily Greenway you could but it would all fucked up and close the gape of the hook, especially with shrink tube

Is this rig good for snowman presentation?
@onemaninaboat8 жыл бұрын
+Deki R32 I've been using this rig with snowman presentation with very good effects, but I use slightly longer hair in such a case, say 6-10 mm of separation between the hook and the boilie.

Whenever I cast out my carp rig, I always reel it in to find that the hook and bait has wrapped round the line above the lead. Even when using anti tangle sleeves this happens.
@thomasthetankengine22577 жыл бұрын
Boss Man use a pva bag every time. Or a stringer.
@polishlad88737 жыл бұрын
Or maybe work on your casting technique Stopping the line before hits a water prevent tangle.
@lachojski20056 жыл бұрын
Or use two bits of foam stuck together one either side of your hook this will slow it’s fall and push it away from your mainline/lead

Totally no control at all where the hook will penetrate with this rig:-(. Ouch 🤕
@Kb11466 Жыл бұрын
The hook lifting up without the point swinging down puts me off of this rig. I get the theory and yes will turn quicker than most rigs. However i like my point to be heavy swinging low for the bottom lip, prefer normal blowback with ring over this
@Kb114666 ай бұрын
@@JLSGamingYT not even remotely, and before you challenge that. Just 1 mechanical difference is if you lift a D rig up the hook point swings down and is point heavy, this rig will lift sideways or upwards

@chesurechesure8 жыл бұрын
Ive used a similar rig and had good results but casting over 60 yards the tubing moves when the bait hits the water every single time. That telling you've been done is bollocks, if it goes it goes man.
@jamessmith-ot5nl6 жыл бұрын
then ur tubing is to loose or you're not feathering the cast well enough iv been fishing this rig for 10+ years and it will only move if a fish picks it up or a crayfish gets hold of it. normally a crayfish in my case

why not just tie the knot further down the shank -_-
@Writeous0ne5 жыл бұрын
Cause the hair goes away from the hook point... this rig brings the boilie close to the hook point and hooks fish better
