Really nice Pupae Phil, thanks. Like the use of PT and Peacock. I will have to add this Chironomid to build list. Good fishes in New Year.

Thanks. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed my video. Both pheasant tail and peacock herl are still great materials to incorporate in any pattern. Cheers, Phil.

Nice patten Phil! I have to think this would sink slower than a typical resin/sally body chron. Maybe killer when they are feeding at the surface? Washing line?

@@TightLinesNW Thanks Jason. This pattern would have a slower sink rate. No reason why it wouldn’t work in a washing line setup. I do tend to use unweighted patterns on my washing line setup ups other than the point fly of course. This creates less of a hinge between you leader and fly line aiding bite detection. I hope this makes sense. Cheers, Phil.

@@PhilRowleyFlyFishing Yup, makes perfect sense. I've had some really good days with unweighted Diawl Bach's on a washing line. Thanks!
