Something I've been experimenting with is using brown sharpie to mark just the edge to make it look more buggy. I use thinner foam though, with about 6 wraps. Yours floats better I'm sure. This is the only fly I've caught trout on fishing the Spokane.

Thanks! At times yes, but I tie them all with full hackle and them trim on the water if need be.
