The metal hook tied over the fret with the thread ; please share it's technique.

Hey man, thanks a lot for the video :).. But if I can suggest something, I think you could do a little better filming, perhaps ask someone to film you as you tie the string. It gets kind of confusing to see what's happening at some point.. at least for me :). Cheers!

If I might add a little thought as I have done this many times. I apply a little ball of Bluetack under each end of the fret, press the ends of the fret into the Bluetack on the edge of the sitar neck. This will help keep the fret in position while you fiddling around with the knot. Believe me, it really helps. After tying the fret on, you can easily remove the Bluetack with your finger nail.

I use a flat nosed clothespin to keep the fret standing. I stand the fret, clip the clothespin standing upright to the middle or the fret, tie the fret, and remove the clothespin. It works great!
