As a teen girl I went through a kind of funky masc-punk stage, bought a couple random ties from a thrift store and proceeded to not use them for about six months. Finally I got round to googling "how to tie a tie" and this was the first result that came up - quick, easy, pleasant and simple to follow. Would recommend to anyone.

Notes to quickly come back to: 1. Seem side down to begin. 2. Skinny side around your ribcage. 3. Cross fat end over skinny, creating an X. 4. Push fat end up through behind into hole. 5.take it to the side and movie it straight through behind the hole. 6. Bring it around and put it into the hole. 7. Seem side should be showing. 8. Take it across the front. 9. Take it behind and push it through the back of the hole. Face should be showing. 10. Take the fat end and shove behind the top bit if fabric but in front if the rest. 11. Pull and slide, tidy up and done.
