what prep work needs to be done to canvas? What did you stuff in the shoe and why? What was in the bottle?

We didn't do anything to prep our canvas other than lightly spray with water. Pre-washed fabrics are best with our dye. So, I'm sure that would be good if possible. I put plastic bags in the shoes and the foam that came in them. This protects the inside of the shoe from getting dyed and helps the shoe keep its shape while working on it. @@SEIArtRoom Thank you. I purchased a lol..used zebra print canvas jacket. The idea is to spray tiedye and give it new life for one of my children.
