Your videos are relatable because you show when you mess up and have to go redo thing over and over. It happens to most but some people don’t show that. They make it look like they got it on the first try, then I try it. Doesn’t work and it pisses me off. You show when you ruin something and how to fix it. Makes me be like aaahhhh, I see. Cool! I like the honesty.

@shmoxd tip for your screen printing. It should have a gap between the frame and the shirt and it will release from each other. A lollipop stick or a coin on the underside of the frame on each side will give enough space for you to press through the paint but also when you've lifted up it will spring back away from the fabric.

Hey! I'm an art teacher and I am doing a digital art class with my kids this year. I was wondering if you can upload a video of your process. When it comes to printing the design on vinyl. What materials do you use, how do you get it to translate, do you need a specific printer, do you use other programs besides photoshop? My kids would love something like this!!

I would have just used heat transfer vinyl. You can cut it out with the cricut maker and use an iron to have the vinyl adhere to the shirt and the dye wont stick to the vinyl. You could even just dye it and out the vinyl on after

Bro best and easiest way to do this is to use wax, melt it down to a liquid then paint on your design, might also work on the screens but might only get one pass as you have to wash the wax away with hot water. It has a Spanish name for the type of work but I can't remember, I did this many moons ago in secondary school it was lot's of fun. Great content thanks for sharing.

My question is how long does this design stay on the shirt? Can it be machine washed? When does it crack? Do you think I could make and sell shirts with this technique?
@fishycat.3 жыл бұрын
It usually stays on pretty alright. :) I recommend washing the shirt in slightly colder temperature and turned inside out. Might need some touching up with the iron once in a while if it starts to crack or lift. You can! I suggest investing in good materials for the longetivity and easiness.
