How to tie moss on Driftwood in Planted Aquarium? Aquascaping Tips | ADA Moss Cotton Moss aquarium

In this video, we will see how to tie different kinds of Aquarium moss to driftwood the right way and where to tie. These Aquascaping tips will help you grow beautiful aquarium moss in your planted aquarium.
Aquarium moss gives a natural look to your planted aquarium.
Few Aquascaings tips to tie moss to driftwood
1. Tie the moss where an ample amount of light is falling.
2. Tie it biodegradable thread like moss cotton.
3. Make sure some of the moss is touching the water to keep it damp and moisture.
4. Do not tie lots of moss on wood because the moss at the bottom will die otherwise.
5. Trim the extra moss protruding out with some spring scissor to make it look even.
you can also stick moss to wood with glue and stick the moss with gel. Note that these glues and gels will burn the moss and make it grow slower as moss is very sensitive.
You can tie any of the following moss to wood for your planted aquarium
1. Java moss
2. Flame Moss
3. Willow Moss
4. Weeping Moss
5. Christmas Moss
6. Peacock Moss, etc
Please be careful, while using glue or gel. Use acetone or nail polish remover if it sticks to your hand.

You have got the Skills man! Skills to make such beautiful and cheap hobby to a very expensive one. You said don't use hydrogen peroxide and use ADA stuffs, however, famous aquascaper Juri uses Hydrogen Peroxide. You said don't use cotton thread and use ADA stuff, however, most famous aquascaper Josh sim uses Cotton thread for moss. You have got the skills man. Cheap or Expensive are subjective, what is cheap for you may be expensive for someone else, so please don't look down upon a hobby that so many people have come to love. What i say in my videos are from my experience, and what the others say is from their experience, This is not some competition about who is right, you have the choice to learn from it or squabble about who said what. @@MayurDevAquascaper I am in this hobby since last 3 years and you can certainly promote your product. But don't demote other handy products. Dont spread negativity about other cheap products such as normal cotton thread which just works good for tying moss.

One thing i have learnt is to keep your mind open and ask the right question and never come to quick judgements Now about your comment about spreading negativity, well if that was the case no one would have watched my videos right ?? finally let me tell you one more important thing Below is a list of the basic chemicals used while adding any color to your common cotton thread that you mentioned Acetic Acid. Oxalic Acid. Soda Ash. Sodium Hypo chloride. Sulphuric Acid. and Hydrogen Peroxide 50% as a bleaching agent And there are some 20 more that are used Answer me this can you assure me that this cannot cause a problem at all in your tank ?? Now for Hydrogen Peroxide, Tell me what grade is ok to use in an aquarium, What should be the dissolution or the strength 20%, 30%, 50% Which of these will work ??? Dear Nick, when we make a video we don't just say what come to our mind, there is a lot of research that goes behind it . You are new to the hobby, take my advice learn the hobby, the interesting techniques, the simple tricks, do a bit of home work and see the hobby with fresh eyes, there is a whole beautiful world out there.
