Did you need to remove the paint of the wall or do any prep to get the adhesive to stick on the painted wall?

I was told by a tile supplier never to mix grout mechanically as it introduces too much air and causes it to go off prematurely. Better to mix by hand. Most grout manufacturers concur with this advice.

Thanks for the advice Darren. In this particular video we use ready mixed adhesive to avoid mixing too much adhesive for a smaller area and it going to waste.
