Your lawn is looking good, i wonder how you maintain your lawn during triple digit degree month in Texas, like last July we had like a whole month above 100 degree until sunset, and i couldn't even stay outside for more than 5 mins., i even have to plant more large trees in my back yard to provide more shade for the house from afternoon sun light. It's too hot here in Texas.

I’m in Austin so finding your channel is great for me. I have a question about using fall pre-emergent. Your calendar says mid-October to mid-November. Is there a specific soil temperature that coincides with this timeframe? I assume folks much farther north than us would apply around now?

Hello. Thank you for the videos. I applied the pre emergent and waited for 3 weeks and did the general fertilizer but i have been seeing lot of weeds popping up in my yard. Do you have any suggestions on how to get rid of them?

Thanks again Rhett. We leveled our backyard yesterday (3600 sq ft) in North Texas. Put down 5 cu yds of mason sand and boy did we find out how lumpy our yard is. We definitely needed more. Now we are trying to decide if we do it again in a few weeks or just wait til next year. Do you have any suggestions?

My yard is 3 years old, centipede put down by builder. Now it's approximately 40% Bermuda, what recommendations for overseeding with MORE Bermuda seeds (summer or fall?) My hope is for the Bermuda to eventually choke out all the centipede. Thanks in advance -- for reference, my home is in southern Alabama .

Any advice on how to get clumping fescue out of Bermuda? We thought our sod died last year in the heat of San Antonio and put out a Scott’s sun and shade mix, now I have clumps of fescue all over and the Bermuda is trying to make a comeback. Have the greenest yard out of the neighbors so far, but the weird texture clumps are driving me crazy. Thanks all!

Rhett grub control is late on the calendar right? I started seeing June bugs in my yard in San Antonio last week. I plant some plants in my backyard today and saw grubs when digging. I’m going to put it down this week. Would love a vid on this

Yeah that’s one of the reasons I mentioned it in the video! Grub control could probably move to early April as opposed to mid-April.
