It's amazing how good you pro tinters are. It can be the most frustrating process when you're an amateur. I was able to tint my windows on my 85 camaro but it turned out rough and the back hatch was the worst part. You guys make it look too easy!!!!

This looks so easy to install but really a pain in the ass. I spent 5hrs on my 2012 camry tail lights and came out like crap :( One of the installer told me that KZbin is making me money. People try these things on their own and end up coming to me. I think he got a point there.

Monther Abdullah You can also spray it on. A company called VHT makes paints for lights. Smoke and red. Some companies sell yellow but hard to find. You can tape around but better to remove headlight then spray it. Clean it very well and spray 2 or 3 lights coats (depending how dark you want it) . Don't spray too much at a time to prevent runs.

your headlights are fine after tinting, its translucent vinyl meaning the light is able to pass through. I have HID headlights standard on my car and ppl actually complain that my headlights are too bright currently

Headlights and street lights should be a bright yellow in northern states. This would make for better driving in snowfall. Belgium uses a very bright yellow lights for there roadways (attracts ufo's I guess) been there it's like driving during the day. Southern France used to have yellow headlights probably due to foggy areas.

Depends on state, usually as long as it can cast a beam as far as the minimum and the turn signals still function as intended, it's perfectly legal

I believe it has to put out atleast 50% of the original headlight visibility but I'm sure it varies by state. I'd switch to LED lights if you're going to tint Headlights.

The problem with this is. When you don't like it anymore and remove the tint from the headlights, You will notice that your headlight's plastic lenses when have micro cracks. it could be because of the heat being trap by the tint.

he didnt even took the transparent part off so the sticky part can stick to the head light and as the headlights create heat the wrap starts to come off its better to smoke the headlights by being sanded and sprayed

Sorry but professionals don't use rapid tac, a squeegee wrapped in a paper towel, and a plastic knife. I've been wrapping cars for 16 years, you have a lot more to learn. As far as the material, its a translucent vinyl and can be ordered from any sign supply place. Also, Nicolas is right, you should use knifeless tape to do cutouts for light penetration, it's safer and a cleaner look.

Xiuhcoatl I usually get LaminX. You can also get different colors. It's a thick rubbery material with one side that is sticky though can easily remove it later. I usually use it to tint inner high beams on older BMWs yellow. I've tried the smoke tint and it really ruins the light output but looks cool. They sell pre-cut to fit your lights or you can also buy sheets to cut yourself
