Gonna try this tomorrow. I trim the edge of all my windows on the inside like you but i use a fresh bit of the blade every cut. So essentially 1 blade 1 car. And i have my second knife just for cutting film on a bench or outside the car like yourself

So.. does the film still need to be filed after this? Or has that finished the top of the glass?

Looks like a perfect tint job but seems like alot of steps. How long does it normally take him to tint an average sedan shaving all 4 doors?
@jwelch97805 жыл бұрын
Sam, I typically spend about 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours on a sedan. I dont get in a hurry. On the high volume work, I use patterns, and shave that time down to just an hour or less on many of them. All roll downs shaved, regardless. Making a video about a technique always exaggerates time involved.

thank you for the video. Ralph, a few years ago I asked for your help with how to market and grow my business and you passed me your number but I lost it. Can I still give you a call? I am from canada and its been 2 years but my business is not growing because I have to start over from scratch with a new business name. Your videos have helped me tremendously upgrading my skills but I have little for how to advertise.

How many windows will this one dull blade shave ??? Jeff ???
@jwelch97805 жыл бұрын
I can usually finish a couple sedans before I grab a new blade. Sometimes a window or two more. It all depends on the quality of the glass edge. I see times where one vehicle consumes a whole blade.
