How to top up pressure on a Vaillant combination boiler.

Do you open the cold or the hot water

The cold valve is on the right side. The heating valve which allows the water into the heating system is on the left side. If you leave the right valve on it will switch off the hot water to your taps. Note never leave both valves on at the same time unless you’re topping up the pressure.
