Thank you so much for your combos, concepts and contributions. I’m relatively new to taking my dancing serious. I use threading and tracing in my prop manipulation and flow arts as well (I’ve been spinning Poi, contact Staff & many other props for the better part of a decade now) .. however reconnecting to my body is something new and I am so inspired. I hope to meet and work with you one day Kevin!

How many bad moves are tried out every time before everyone agrees on one obviously being cool? How does one create a useless motion that somehow looks naturally impossible, like a slide of hand, yet perfectly represents maybe an unrealistic sound, that was created to sound nice between other sound? What is dancing to music if not the language of god? If all holy texts where translated into one overall meaning, it surely would say "shut up and dance!".

would it be sensitive if i ask you how much a dancer earns? im still a beginner and nowhere near 'teaching-level' but i do really want to know. i always attend classes and workshops here of course to learn but also so that my teachers would earn

hello mr kevin paradox, can i ask if jazz and hiphop do have a connection? i get this connotation that some parts of hip hop came from jazz because when they play 'old school' songs, some are jazz (or jazz-inspired??) i am trying to learn hip hop (and dance generally)'s history!! thank you good sir!! i always quote what you say to my fellow dancers here. take care always!!

Well this is totally Electro moves not Hip hop 🤔 why you name this like that ?
@KevinParadox3 жыл бұрын
Threads and Traces where created in Popping and Breaking in the 1970's - 80's and have existed way before Electro as well as its music was created in the 2000's. Hip Hop Freestyle which emerged in the 1980's continued to express and evolve threads and traces from than on. Thats why these are original Hip Hop techniques.
