I don't have a problem aiming, managing recoil....well in previous CODs. But it really feels like alot of time in MW2 my aim will be on target but then as I'm shooting it'll drift to one side or the other. Its almost as if aim assist works the opposite way and my aim and the target are like the same side of a magnet and somehow pushes my aim away. Like freaking aim resist.

I know exactly what you’re talking about. No matter what you do, even moving the joystick, it’s like something is blocking you from hitting the target. I’ve been experiencing this too!

trust me just play on 20 20.. i got used to it in a few days back on bo3 (14 14 back then) and since then my aim has gotten so much better compared to a low sens

Go into settings and put your FOV (field of view) higher! It may just be that a higher FOV seems to look faster

I don't think it's worth having high sensitivity just because you want to turn around. I play on 90 fov, 4 horizantal and 3 vertical, 0.75 ads sensitivity
