Hmmm, doesn't work for me. Every time I try adding the =month(cell) or =year(cell) I get the error #VALUE!.... Maybe I'm using a more recent version of Excel and it has some differences?

That is strange. Have you formatted the cells with dates or is it formatted as numbers m? The version of excel should not impact this formula.

@@MoneywithDan No formatting was done to the CSV sheet other than opening it in Excel and saving it as an XLSX file. I checked the cells with the dates and they are all formatted as "General". The entire DATA tab/sheet is. I agree it is weird. I've looked all over online to find a possible cause, and none of the suggestions have worked.
