I love being a woman!! Our bodies are so amazing and I am so glad there is a BC that is non-hormonal. Your vid was so informative! Thanks.

Love this!! THANK YOU for calling us women and not “menstruating people” like so many of the other cycle related videos out there. YOURE THE BEST

After the lgpt community took over social media and canceled pretty much anyone calling a WOMAN A WOMAN ,people started to make a difference between "real women" and trans women. So saying women menstruate will get people saying : BLA BLA NOT ALL WOMEN MENSTRUATE ect...💔
@ellesmiles6624 Жыл бұрын
Using the term “menstruating people” is meant to be more inclusive of non binary folks! 😊

I realize that… but obviously if you are tracking your cycle and ovulating/ having a period, then you are a WOMAN 🥰❤️

@@jadynwillis2372 or maybe you just care about your health? Just because you're a female doesn't mean you're a woman. Sex and gender are two very different things. Yes females are typically woman, but that doesnt represent every female's case.

I'm so excited I found you! Looking forward to learning more from you as I go on this women's health journey. Your content is beautiful (love your hair and speaking voice!), knowledgeable, relevant, and easy to understand. I'm so appreciative of women like you who are publicly discussing feminine life topics. If I am currently sleeping on a night shift schedule, does any of the literature discuss how that may affect my cycle tracking or basal temperature? (ex: 4am-12pm)
@JillzGuerin3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words! Yes ok great question...if you're consistently working night shifts, just make sure that you're taking your temp at approximately the same time every day. However, I would use more caution and make sure for a few cycles that you are ovulating and have a clear temp shift before you think about trying this for pregnancy prevention. If your sleep is off, your temp can get thrown off so I would do this for a few months to make sure that it "works" so to say. Hope that helped!

Can you make a video of people who are for example with a IUD and don’t get their period anymore but still want to track their cycle to create a lifestyle that works better for the hormones ?

Thank you so much for this video. I just placed order for basal thermometer. What app did you say you are using?
@BriBorgersen Жыл бұрын
The app I use has a place to chart your bbt but it doesn’t show a trend or chart or anything so it isn’t really that helpful

Why is it that i take my temperature and will take it one minute later and its like a whole degree different? I bought this exact thermometer you have listed.

Some have said that it has to be ont he same time everyday is that accurate

Hey, I feel like my period and hormones dictate my life and I wanted to learn to eat and exercise according to my period and hormones.. I get about 2 periods a month However I’m really not sure how I can do that, I am on a hormone birth control (implant) And want to stay on it because I don’t want to get pregnant but idk how to go about this Please, some advice? :)
@D11r41k7 ай бұрын
Use condoms and have sex on safe days? I would also recommend reading "Woman code" or a similar book about female hormones. It helped me to understand my cycle and improve it to an extent. On Coursera I've seen a very nice course about birth control.

Hi! How do I do it on the days when I work night shift? If you’re supposed to take it the same time everyday when you get up! Do I just take it when I wake up in the evening after working night shift?
@JillzGuerin2 жыл бұрын
So unfortunately you can only really use the temp tracking method if you have a consistent sleep schedule. It's more difficult to do if you work night shift!
@BriBorgersen Жыл бұрын
Maybe you could skip the days you work night shift and only do it the days you wake up in the day.. even though it wouldn’t be an everyday thing you could still see a trend ?
