Michael Li They don't, the sticker by itself cost that amount of money, and the ak skin costs another amount of money, it doesn't adds value in the steam market, buuuut trading does, you can easily trade it for something above of what you'd usually get.

A good way too start getting skins is trading on surf/bhop servers, what I did is I got to high ranks on many different surf servers which cost me nothing then I find someone who has some items worth around 15-20 something dollars and I send them my points to get the high ranks for the items. This is a great way to start a nothing to knife because you will get the knife you want quicker and without putting in any money. Another way of starting nothing to knife is getting a new case for example right now the newest case is chroma 3 and it still goes for around a dollar or so and if you get it in game you can trade it or sell it for a skin worth a dollar and start there.

Yeah, I just watched this, and I have to say, this would work for big traders, with big amounts of keys and or money. I'm also guessing most your viewers don't have that amount of money or such expensive items. Let's take me for example, I started with a StatTrak AWP HyperBeast Battle-Scared ($40) and now I'm up to a $170 knife (Karambit Night Battle-Scared), and that's taken me around 5 months to trade up. Not trading with keys, but items only. Trading with keys would definitely be easier though.

The way I did it: Played the game until I had enough blues to trade up, traded the gun on csgl for another one worth like $0.30-$1 more in price (it's not even a key difference, so some people are willing to do it, especially when the skins are only 1-2 keys). Continued doing this until I had a skin worth 5 keys and then started actually trading with keys. Ended up with a bayo slaughter after about 2 months. I had stopped trading for a bit and lost the pricing of skins, so I just put it onto a gambling site, won about $800 in skins. Since I had stopped trading I just sold them and bought most of the recent game releases... I think I'll have to get back into the trading scene again

Honest question here: With buying keys and what not, do you mean it's good to use keys as a currency and trade those keys you bought initially for an item, then trade that for keys with a small increase every time?

If you gain key value when downgrading shouldn’t you always downgrade your expensive skins if you are planning to covert them into keys in order to get more keys? Sorry, I am a noob at trading. xD
