Ever tried the "Biker Bar"? I had one for my Iron 883, but just picked up a bar for my Fat Bob (softail). It's genius. It clamps onto the frame and as you ride in it locks the clamp to the trailer. No suspension damage, zero paint damage, no straps. Ride in, clamp. Two kicks of your boots and unclamp, ride out.

Good job on reminding to hook the trailer up, one time I forgot to flip the lock thing down and rode my zero turn up was a run ride!

Yeah I've done it once or twice with the lawn mower also. Would hate to try it on a motorcycle!

If you strap the front to the fork lowers, there's no stress on the suspension. Wrap the soft ties around the fork where fender attaches.

The inverted forks on the fat bob make it a bit more difficult to do that.

Very informative. Great job. I had never heard of the "transport mode".

Its a part of the new keyless models. If you don't put it in transport mode it will act like it's being stolen and flash it's lights, killing the battery going down the road lol
