Great video! Another bit of advice is you can use pretty much any bike for cadence and resistance training. When I am the beach I will do a ride on my beach cruiser, 10 or so miles, heart rate gets up to 150+ and the resistance is epic.

Can i use a trail bike on Enduro races or maybe not to technical Downhill races i think i will sell my XC bike because i dont have that much stamina
@aledge63175 жыл бұрын
Stamina can be built by doing lots of easy aerobic riding. It really depends on what you enjoy more: long rides up and downhill in the mountains, keep the xc or if you want to hang around a bike park and walk back uphill then maybe you you will prefer downhill and might be better with an Enduro or trail bike. If you're a beginner then your skills and fitness will be the limits far more than the bike. Some Enduro races have hardtail and single speed categories so you will be fine, just give it a go...
@ROSE-by5su5 жыл бұрын
Al Edge im biking for like 3 years on BMX and 4 years in XC bike but i converted it to my trail/dirt jump bike wich i send to much and break everything on it and this year i planned to go XC but here in Philippines we dont do that easy Beginner friendly race we do 60km race and 80% of it was uphills and im allready bored doing that because uphills are just a game for me i just finding like that moto feel like smashing rocks without thinking my fork will bottom out that much and im to much like a cardio guy i ridden 30kms uphills and just drinking 250ml wich is half of my water bottle

Al Edge we dont do bike categories here in our country we do Age category and experience category who gives a damn if you have hardtail in here they dont even care
@ashtonmorley21845 жыл бұрын
You will want a bike with around 150/140 for enduro racing. I currently compete on a 130/120 and definitely feel the lack of suspension in my arms on the descents!

AM Trail Rider well im good at choosing lines and i dont know how i do it but i actually discovered accidentally that i can land so smooth one time i forgot my front fork was locked so thats a another skill i have and i have friends who have trek remedy he ride that on enduro competitions and he is like 5’4 and i am 5’5 so maybe it will work for me

I race enduro on a 130/120 and while it is possible, your arms are going to get tired a lot faster. That extra 20-40mm of suspension that enduro specific bikes have is very helpful on the steep chunky descents!
