@@nirv2796 if I may interject, yes you can by exposing your child to more varied activities and different types of play. Outdoors, movement, simple science experiments you can do with stuff you have at home, use learning games you can print for free online, and you don't have to eliminate screens completely. Just keep it to a total of accumulated 45 minutes per day, so 5 minutes here, 7 minutes there etc and using useful learning apps or videos. If your child is used to being passive in front of a screen, you may face some resistance and impatience and lack of concentration but it will pass, just keep at it 😊.

True, at that age the activities are similar to preschool and kindergarten, but it is still correct to call it school. In fact, another term commonly used for preschool is nursery school.

These classes have existed in Europe for at least 25 year when my parents brought me there. They were much cheaper though and no blinking electronics lights. In kindergarten I was the youngest theater lead they've had, so I guess that helped stimulus intake including memorization. But I think other environmental factors matter much more like not being a helicopter parent and providing a safe and supportive environment ro learn.

The Baby Started moving his head was going around & around , his eyes went back. my poor sister was Screaming we need to take him to the Hospital , we did , then my sister gave him to the Doctor he put him on bed he said your baby is dead. As an early childhood educator, I have so much to say about this video. #1- this way of learning encourages an increase in hyper stimulation of the brain. #2- SwingI got children up into the air can cause an increased risk of shaken baby syndrome and even possible brain damage. These methods are extreme and may be effective in the area of brain muscle memory at the risk of so many possible long term side effects. The brain, much like all other muscles takes time to develop and needs to be nurtured and properly taken care of in a way that promotes the greatest possible outcome for healthy development. Children should have a balanced routine that encourages natural growth at a pace that is unique to the individual 😊.

I agree with this as I'm an Early Childhood Eductor as well and my agreement is backed by theories and researches that we study in our course.Also, adding to this I had a healthy discussion with some of the prominent Educators about the steep FAD prodigy baby programs promoted and sold over the social media platforms where the baby is said to achieve it's milestones way before an average.These kind of programs do more harm than good as they lay a lot of pressure on the growing baby's brain and physique and is totally against the developmentally appropriate practices.

Infants at this age don't really need to be exposed to these kinds of flashcards to learn or to make them smart. Instead through letting them naturally explore their surroundings and be exposed to different textures and sensorial stimuli that's how their brain can develop.

Ahmed Fouda Can be a little confusing. The video shown is Heguru Method and I think they say once a week is enough and maybe a little homework at home. But there is another leading enrichment right brain school, the Shichida Method. They say you must practice everyday.

There's no problem to teach your children being a memorisation experts, there's a real challenge to help your child be kind and compassionate. Parents do all these things for swanking around how smart their kid is afterwards, but kids are usually the hostages of their parents' ambitions. There's nothing to envy. I was a lil skeptical about this study but infants do tend to learn a lot faster and easier than adults, so it it does make sense to train your babies at an early age like this. This responsibility really goes to their mum.. the dad out working 12-15 hrs a day so the first 3 years the most time is spent with the mum who should make sure the child keeps learning

The cerebellum is responsible primarily (although not exclusively) for balance and movement. It has some contribution to language (not sure about musical ability) but it's not "responsible" for language. That being said, babies do benefit from being spun (gently), bounced, and other movements as that does help them develop balance. But you don't need to go to a class for that. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to let a baby bear their full weight by holding onto a trapeze, even with the parent helping them with hand-over-hand support. Their shoulder sockets may not be ready to hold that much weight and they are not designed to hold their full weight since this is not a natural motion for a baby.

nurturing your kids at home and outside play are good too..exposing them in various activities makes them learn too…reading books for them can be helpful in many ways..like my daughter, she just turned 3 yrs old and she can read word family fluency in english and Filipino..

Interesting, I can't afford these classes but I can do as much at home and at free parks. Love the fact parents need to be involved and interact with their babies and older children. Also many libraries have these kind of groups for free and sometimes your county will have programs like this for free. I recommend looking them up.

I don't know, I'm skeptical about all these modern developments in early children education. I feel like all these people just want to grab more money from these scientifically illiterate young urban middle class parents. I don't consider myself scientifically literate myself, especially not in the early development area, but I know I would be skeptical and would try to listen to what my local neuroscientists or children development experts in Universities have to say about this.

There's a strong correlation to early brain stimulations like this and depression in the adulthood of kids alike. They turn out smart but lacking in emotional quotient which plays a significant role in our life today. So very sad. Let the babies be they will not miss anything at this age.. When I went to Singapore, I saw lots of these child centres in malls. I understand that they don't have lots of outdoors areas to do activities, cause I still prefer outdoor activities under 🌞 and above Grass for my kids if I have one haha

Flashcards are creepy. The younger the child, the creepier. You might make your kids parrots with these, but you certainly don't make them smart. As for the rest: These are simply different ways of playing with a child - you don't need classes for that.

@Queen S Yes, flashcards work, if it parrots you want. It just teaches the child to react to a certain trigger (in this case a certain card) in a certain way. Like Pawlow's dog, basically. It has, however, nothing to do with actual intellectual learning, because for real learning understanding is crucial.

And if you read my comments, you must have noticed that I never wrote that you CAN'T use flashcard, but that it's pointless in actually teaching something. If you work with flashcards the child will learn in what way to react to a specific card. That's it. There is no understanding behing it, no transferral onto other objects, as with actual learning. How you teach children? Well, simply the way most people teach children all around the world: By playing with them, talking to them, engaging them. Both my childern knew a lot of colours before the age of 2. I can't remember when my older child could distinguish between different geometrical shapes (it's been too long), but my younger one knew at least circle, triangle, square and pentagon from around 20 months old.

@@choosnau I don't exactly know which part you mean with your question. Anyway: Everything I wrote basically is "standard knowledge" when it comes to young children's learning and development. They learn by doing, with as many senses involved as possible and preferably with a loved one.

Although I agree that they're completely unneccessary for young children, there's nothing wrong with flashcards when used correctly. Flashcards aren't for teaching, they're for drilling. You should already understand the material before putting it on a flashcard. Flashcards can be used as a form of testing, which is actually one of the best ways to reinforce information (say compared to re-reading, highlighting, and other passive activities people revising for exams often oversubscribe to). If you've begun to parrot your flashcards, you've either made them poorly or you're overlearning the information, and should move on to new material.

Che Erin Wow, you mean you don’t read books to your baby and your just play with your baby and your baby can automatically start to read at 18 months. Kinda hard to believe. There are many ways to teach a baby. The method in this video may not be your preference, does not mean it is “brainwashing”
