How to train your climbers?

This is a 1 year old rose, own root, purchased from David Austin website online (purchased / planted in 1/28/2023)
I had previously removed all the leaves during winter.
You can see she grew very strong and the first bloom is beautiful and smell amazing! She will definitely love some shade in 9b California.
