can you only transcribe a certian part of your vido for captions? I added captions for 1 clip but i dont wnat to have double the captions on a single clip

This is great, thank you! One question. I cannot edit the speaker names. There are no 3 dots... anymore and have been searching not finding a solution. I think I need to be in the source transcript, but it shows I am indeed in the transcript tab, so not sure how to navigate this. Any ideas, please?

Hi Dusty, I recently updated my Premiere to the 2023 version. In the 2021 version I was using, there was a popup that allowed me to format the transcriptions (change the language, identify speakers, etc.). I want to do a transcription in Spanish -- any way to change the language? The popup doesn't come up anymore and it automatically transcribes into English! Any ideas?

Hi, if I wanted to transcribe a 60 mins video, does it take 60 mins for premiere pro to run through and process the video to produce the transcript?

I added another lot of video to the sequence but how do i add transcription to that? it keeps changing the original transcribed bit??? it wont transcribe the newly added video, driving me nuts

I tried this and it did such a monstrously horrible job I want to undo it, but I can't seem to find any way to undo or re do it. there is a re-transcribe option but it's greyed out.

Yeah...the transcribe option is not so good...I don't understand how so many KZbin video are talking about it like its all that and a bag of chips. One guy even said it "blew his mind"...LOL.

You can undo the transcription by highlighting it in the timeline section of the sequence where it is inserted. Highlight it, then hit the delete key. This will delete it from the "transcript" section as well...and you will be able to redo it, if desired.
