I think the Pellon Wash and Gone will be my top choice to use for wool felt. I love the idea! I did not even know that Pellon made such a nifty thing for embroidering onto felt or other heavy fabric. This should simplify what I thought was going to be a challenging project. I do like the Press n Seal paper too, but to reduce the risk of damaging the stitches, the Pellon would work best. Thank you for the tulle method. This is exactly what I needed. I need to transfer designs onto woollen bowls I have felted, and the designs will then be needle felted onto the bowl. Perfect, thank you.

My go to for transferring designs is white or grey graphite paper and a stylus. The paper is non smudging. I’ve used it on fabric but not wool yet. I love seeing your other options.
