How to Transfer Save Data to Pretendo Account!

Every time I select "Restore savedata" and "Select slot: 000" (which is the only text option on the screen) on any of my games, they all give me a red error screen that says "No backup found on select slot." Does that mean I lost all of my save data for all of my games? Or am I doing something wrong here?

You have to back up your games first by selecting backup save data

You first have to go to “Backup savedata” and save the game to the SD card. Then you can restore the savedata from the SD card to a Wii U user.

For me, I have to backup each game from the original account (make sure the name is accurate and it says “has save” in parenthesis) Then go to restore, select the slot you backed up the save to, THEN you’ll see the options to transfer from one to another.

When I press the home button nothing happens, it just freezes, for me, why? Could you help me? I have to manually shut down the console but I checked it out and the data has been transferred so it's a minor inconvenience. Did you make a backup before? Looks like the video creator missed it, the steps for this are in the Wii U installation guide if that's easier.

May I know what's the use of having a pretendo profile ? I have my old (useless) nintendo ID on the only profile I use and there doesn't seem to be limitations as far as I saw. Is it just to have several different save files ? EDIT : Ok it's to play online. I completely forgot the Wii U's online service was down since I never used to to begin with (And also it's fairly recent). So that's pretty cool.

Yes, well, you can back up all saves at once, but you'll have to go through and import each save individually
