How to Transfer Servers in SWTOR

7:31 it seems this overwriting of legacy names is no longer the case. I tried transfering a char from satele shan to shae vizla, then paying to move it back in order to rename both the character and the legacy (50 on shae vizla, used to be 33 on satele shan). I did this because I had free char transfers to shae vizla and the transfer back costs 1k cartel coins instead of 2k coins for 2 renames (1k each). It pushed my legacy on satele shan to 50 but didnt change the name.

what we need are freshstart servers for all regions, never allow transfers to these servers and impose a ridiculous credits cap for GTN sales. That at least would give everyone the chance for a level playingfield and no "gotta be a billionair to buy anything" economy....

Remove the botting, RMT and add more options to get credits, allow player to do cross server without pay and their you go. I am huge player in FF14 we have cross realm and cross server data (free) and we don't have any difficulty. Even WoW don't have this lmao

Do you at least know the email address of the account ? I had an account which I knew the email address of but lost the password to, had no idea what the swtor account name was. It was a founders account and I didn’t want to lose that. I called EA support for swtor told them the situation they asked a bunch of questions to verify I was who I said I was and they transferred my swtor account to my current email address. Did this about 2 months ago.

i had an account i made using a google gmail account, which gmail shut down because i didn't use it it enough. Googl was being a total A$$, so i had to make a yahoo account to replace the g,mail one. SWTOR Customer Service was vvery helpful & i finally got the SWTOR account back!

Have a question iam installing game now and iam wondering difference between ft2 and vip can i f2p all story and dlcs like u can be revan and all that or i have to buy with real money dlcs and what happens when mine vip wears off can i play dlc thanks

being F2P does not allow you to play the game with all the DLC. if you subscribe to swtor which is $15 a month? i could be wrong, you have access to the full game and all the dlc. there is another account status called "preferred" you get that status if you purchase a subscription but don't subscribe again. there is a helpful page on swtor website that will explain it better. i hope this helps guide you to answer your question!

My issue is that you still have to pay 500cc! They need to remove this ridiculous restriction. Because I have more than 10 characters I want to transfer and I am forking out 5k cc!!! WTF!

Yeah that why I have stop played this game, my server is dead. I am still impressed they still update the game. FF14 don't have this stupid thing, you can go in other realm in second and even go in a other server data without any payment

The new update is bad. Unable to log in! Freezes on the log in screen. Have other MMO and no issues with them.
