This is what I did to fix the 40% problem: Do not cancel the transfer, when you get the error just restart the iPhone using the "power and volume buttons". Once the iPhone restarts, open WhatsApp again and the import page will show up again. Click on Start button and this time it should complete to 100%.. It worked for me after resetting my iPhone more than 3 times trying. I hope it works for you guys too... Good luck! 👌🏾

First method is risky and there is a chance to lose your save information. I tried the second one and I found: - It is paid as he has mentioned. - it is not short process as he mentioned, it takes the whole day and after all that, the app will give you an message sais that you haven't enough space in your iPhone for new whatsApp message while that is not true, even though that I have more than 120 GB free and the total volume of whatsapp message was 28 GB, it gives that message which that you have no more space for new data.
