2:1 Damage:rate ratio for DST is outdated, after wind up time fix.

After some testing, it looks like you're right. 2:1 works for low numbers like 200 power and 100 rate. The ratio shifts to 31:14 with higher numbers like 620:280. Reworking the stat numbers in this video, the optimal ratio for DSTs with those stats is more like 17:7 or 1700:700. It looks like the ratio is still the same for flamebursts though, 11:9 being a bit more accurate than 4:3. Thanks for letting me know. I was planning to do an update to my hero build guide video at some point, that's definitely going in! The question then becomes: What's the best ratio to recommend for overall tower DPS? Given how meta flamebursts are mid to late game, I'm not sure if I'd rule out def rate as a stat worth investing at least some rune power in for anyone still progressing through massacre survival. I used them heavily on my way through for the first time, they're such a good counter to physical sirens.

Soo the pet doesn’t attack the sirens anymore in massacre?? Cus i had the steam robot pet on as i went in and mine was jus kinda standing idle like the giraffe does

Interesting build for this map. Good idea with the low amount of DU it gives. Just got to level 74. Trying to grind for nightmare. What do you think is the most time efficient grind for leveling?

If you're just breaking into NM, I would say Ancient Mines. It'll give you a ton of upgrades and some good xp. With the upgrades though, you can jump straight to Promenade Survival for much better gear and xp. Grinding wave 20 starts on NM Survival Promenade is nice xp per hour.

has anything changed with the pet dps squire strat? my dragon pet COMPLETELY ignores the sirens and will attack anything else near it. I have to kill the other 100s of enemies before I can even attempt to damage the sirens with my pet, which results in 1 siren left to kill for loot.

I like this game but it’s like the player base don’t want to help new players, DD2 has a bigger pool of people helping, on awakened you drop into a game and they kick you out :/

i just got the game and went to tutorial it wont let me build or start the tutorial im just running around and i dont get why i cant start i pushed every button and cant do anything at the crystal

There’s no on screen instruction or anything? Usually it wants you to do something specific to start with

@@kupo3769 you have to hold G. Also you have to hold spacebar if you want to skip cutscenes. I had the same problem when I started and I’m level 93 right now and only just found out you have to hold spacebar to skip cutscenes
