I'm glad to see the update! How long did it take to get to this point- between potting and this video? And then how long from here until they can go in the ground? Thank you!

How long will it take for first good fruit fruit compared to grafted or planted from seed?
@ProjectHomeGrown8 ай бұрын
So from the results of this transplant, the first fruits were only like 10 fruits. After I planted out of the pot the following year about 20 and now its just loaded .

I really enjoyed your videos. How do you water the cuttings while they are in the bag? do you just dip it in a bucket of water and let it absorb through the holes or do you loosen the top and water through there? Thanks.

I untwist the top and then I just add water. I very rarely water while they are still rooting. On mistake in the video is I had to make quite a bit more and larger drainage holes at the bottom. Otherwise it works as intended.

hi there - thanks for the update. Can you tell me if you water it while you are waiting for it to root? If so how often? Also it is autumn here in New Zealand and I am about to get the cuttings - should I store it inside, here it is around 5 degrees at night and soon will be much colder at night. Thanks so much!

You probably won't rewater again until it roots. You will have to inspect and check the soil occasionally and feel the bag. You will notice if it gets dry. But it should not be a problem if they are stored in non direct sunlight. If you were to store them store them as cuttings in their potting mix. In my personal experience the winter cuttings I made took mutch longer to root. But I had quite a high survival rate from winter cuttings. The more you can slow down a hard to root type cutting the longer time your plant has to root. Taking into account that your humidity above and below soil is adequate. How cold is mutch colder ? What are your winters like ?

What about the peach cuttings?
@ProjectHomeGrown3 жыл бұрын
Hallo Tommy, as I mentioned in the video I also sell my cuttings to earn a extra bit of income. I sold the cuttings before I made the update video. I Am new to making youtube videos and my planning was not up to date and did not think of keeping some one side for the update video. I will redo the peach cuttings and make a video dedicated to the root development and transplant of the peach cuttings and post it.
