@@shemblessing Bro.. The Bible says in Psalms 33; and specifically vs 3 - "Sing to Him a new song, PLAY SKILLFULLY and shout for joy. It is biblical to play skillfully. Teaching transposition is teaching laziness.. and the Bible says in Proverbs 10:4 - Lazy hands make for poverty, but a diligent hand brings wealth. It takes diligence to learn all scales and keys, but laziness relies on using transpose. Proverbs 21:25 - The desire of thr sluggard (Lazy) kills him for his hands refuse to labor. Please, teach people to labor, put diligence.. this is to worship Your Maker, He gave you life.. Do you disrespect God by being slothful to make music for Him? Did David get into the King's palace to play because he was slothful and used transpose on the harp? Yet God testified.. "I have found one after my own heart".. Please, please... Teach diligence, not slothfulness. Thanks.

Thank you Mark for chiming in. Even a house has to be built on the right foundation. We used to transpose at some point in our lives. But that was not the end of our knowledge. Actually my main issue is not transposition, one eventually(if they are serious) outgrows this, my issue is how you’ve written the scales and trying to relate them to F# as the mother key. Which is also a fallacy. Every key is as important as the next. Learning to understand this removes the overdepence of the transpose button. What if you go to a place where there is no keyboard, just grand pianos? It means you won’t play. Even Levi Pro who’s amongst the best seben keyboard players can play in other keys. LEARN. RELEARN. GROW. This should be your emblem. Trust me, I didn’t come here to show that I am better because I am not. I am always learning. Every single day.
