You transpose the keyboard to change the chord scale. Example , if you are used to playing on the ' C ' keys but you are singing a song on ' F ' , then you transpose the keyboard until the ' F ' chord plays while you press the ' C ' keys. Transpose is a scale changer.

I have had this for one week and figured that out very quickly. But, I use the large dark "dial" instead of the plus or minus. All you have to do is turn it right or left to change the numbers very easily and quickly.

The official word is change the Key, but, yes, the scale determines the key

I don't understand your question. Since this is not a string instrument and no tightening is involved.

Are you meaning to say: Is there a way to save the transposed setting so it is still transposed after you turn off the instrument and then turn it back on? No. The electronic instrument will not save the transposed key(scale) setting since many songs use different key(scales). This avoids many problems especially when playing music with other people.

This will only transpose all the notes involved to a new key (scale) There is no way to change note values.. All I could suggest is picking a different tempo/speed for the metronome setting or the Drum setting..
