If we opt for pay as u go daily cap for zone 6 to zone 1, will 14.1£ fare include travel to and from zone 6 to zone 1 or it is for one sided travel. Will that fare include travel by bus and tube or I hv to pay separately for bus and tube. Do I hv to buy travel card or oyster card to avail this pay as you go cap

Capping is for any number of journeys done between two zones. Only applicable in trains not buses.you need to have oyster card or your bank contact less card.

Great video and very helpful. For people coming from outside to travel london for a day, there is a rail card which offers discount upto 30-60%, any guidance on that to avail discounts in London?

If you are planning a trip for a day and interested in only zone one and two you may go with pay as you go it has a capping for 7.40 for any travels between these zones and if thinking about further than that there is another travel card . You can check tfl website with your requirement. I hope that helps.

Hi. If we buy a monthly travel card for travel between zone 6 to zone 1, will in include travel in buses and tube both? Secondly will this monthly travelcard cover our travel cost for travel within zone 6?

A Travelcard (in the zones it's valid for) gives you unlimited travel at any time on bus, Tube, Tram, DLR, London Overground, Elizabeth line and National Rail services in London. You can use it on all buses, and if valid in zones 3, 4, 5 or 6, on all trams. Travelcards can start on any day.
