She was too large to travel in cabin. Each airline has different requirements and the ones we flew required her to be in the hold.

I have travelled to Germany from the US with my large dog before, but I would like to travel from the Us to canada (easy) but then from Canada to Europe. IE how do you travel from a country where you aren't a citizen to another country where you aren't a citizen?

That sounds like fun! I have no idea how you would do that. I would start by looking up pet import requirements for all countries. Someone in an office in one of the countries should be able to help you out. Good luck!

Hiia question, i`m right now also trying to take my dog outside but there are a lot of test that we need to be doing. Did all of the test you needed also went ouside of malaysia? or could you also do them locally?

We needed tests done in Canada before entering Malaysia and then again in Malaysia before leaving. It’s a lot.

Does a pet need certain vaccinations besides rabies? or is that dependent on the country? also the import permit.. who signs that? thank youuu

That depends on the import country typically. You can check with your local pet export office to find out who needs to sign the paperwork based on where you’re going. It feels like there’s more paperwork involved in moving a pet than there is for a human!
