when traveling, do you turn off your switch when its in the case? my concern is the air vents are blocked and possibly may overheat while its in sleep mode. did you experience this issue?

Rest mode works just fine, only requirement is to have the system on the trays

I understand this video is 2 years old, I hope laws haven’t changed. I still haven’t opened the switch I bought a few months ago. Do I have to take it out of the box and all? Or can it stay in the box? The thing I am worried is the fact they say “no lithium batteries”, I see a Switch like a phone, and they are okay with people traveling with phones and laptops. I think they might ask not to bring lithium battery packs on the plane, but electronics have batteries inside. So I’m clueless.

Hi! I'm really glad to have found this video. If you have the Switch in a case inside of your carry-on, does it need to be removed from the case as well or can you just take the case out from your carry-on and put that in the bin?

Data packs are sometimes unstable but you can't definitely use them. And yes, there are a lot of games you can play locally with multiple systems, like Mario Party Superstars.
