Hey there! I'm trying to get the hang of finger bording. Do you think it's easier to Ollie with foam or grip tape? Also, I ordered a tech deck that I didn't realize was a 96mm, it's so tiny and flat! Very hard to work with haha lesson learned but I'm bummed, it's a really cool graphic. I hope one day I get really good and can use it! Thanks if you read this.

Yo, I used to fingerboard all the time and I could be able to kickflip almost every try. I stopped for about a week and when I came back to it, something was up with my hand/wrist. Somehow it got really tense and it was really hard to oliie and impossible to kickflip. I thought it would just take practice but a month later it's still gets super tense whenever I try to ollie onto things and kickflip. I just was trying to sesh this little twelve stair handrail I have and there r veins popping out of my whole arm because it takes so much effort. It's hard to explain, but pretty much before i pop my board my hand starts pushing down on the board which creates tension and then I can barely pop, and I can't control it. If anyone can give me tips, it would be much appriciated, because fingerboarding was something I used to do for fun, and now it just stresses me out.
@J161796 жыл бұрын
Samcooksk8er I just started a few months ago. This happened too me as well weeks in. The top of my arm tendons felt tired. Then I couldn’t Ollie or do anything lol. It lasted for a week maybe two. I was trying to hard and it made my arm tense up. I have found trying to be light it helped me not over flip my board and holding my board with my finger tips rather than my fingers being more flat took tension off. Also this happened while fingerboarding while sitting at a table. I now stand up and do it at chest height and I haven’t had this issue. If I switch too table I can’t do anything anymore lol
@koisnothere84066 жыл бұрын
I think the problem is that your not flicking your finger or your wrist, pop like medium and flick hard, and catch with 2 fingers.
