One day I found my guppy, very lethargic and grew suspicion in me. On thorough examination I found worms near the fish and red colour on its abdomen, upon which I quarantined it. Following your suggestion I put a very very small amount of garlic. The next day I found It perfectly alright, moving and healthy Thankyou so much❤

Unfortunately salt will do nothing for the parasites, thats why they are such a pain in the ass because they are hard to get rid of, best bet is to deworm the fish and bleach all of the tank and equipment as in as well, i heard hydrogen peroxide works well for killing the larva on live plants if you were running those also

@@ma.eileenmendoza699 right amount will not ! And if you will add more than fish can take .. you will see it in their behaviour. So keep aged water with if your fish Start showing unusual behaviour bcz of garlic and do 30-40 % water change after few minutes of it! Safe as for human, excess amount can hurt both human and fish!

I used to have the same technique by using garlic to get rid if internal parasites from my guppies. However, the garlic not only killed the parasite but the guppies as well.

It depends upon the Aquarium size and amount of garlic you add. Of course it may kill the guppies if u add excessive amount of garlic.

Could you please help me identify a worm I found swimming in the water when I disturbed my substrate? I'm afraid that it might be a camallanus worm. It looks very similar to the one in the following video: @ The thing is that I don't have fish in my tank yet. I only have a dwarf crayfish and some snails. Could what I found still be a camallanus worm? I know they have a free-living stage in their lifecycle.

And next tell shop keeper to turn off colorful lights and ask them to show in bright white light ! No dead fish in bottom or no sick fish in that aqurium ! And also add sea salt in it and remove plants before adding salt then this garlic treatment

No.its not possible. I repeat this procedure periodically. Your Guppies might suffered from acute parasites so it doesn't help in serious conditions.
