I was diagnosed with peyronies in the year 2000. Every doctor that I went to said DO NOT USE A PENIS PUMP! And I went to several docs because the pain was terrible. Now most docs say a pump is one of the best cures. What the Hell?

Howdy: Have you ever suggested multiple daily doses of oral proteolytic enzymes like Serrapeptase, Nattokinase, and/or Lumbrokinase taken between meals? I realize that's not the standard of care, but we also know the standard of care is woefully inadequate for many conditions. Many of us have been left on our own to try to figure out our issues. And, for me, that's not just Peyronie's.

Serrapeptase is definitely worth a try - 80 0000 iu x3 daily, 30 mins after food. You should know after 3 weeks. Also massage wheatgerm oil (vitamin E).

Thanks so much for this. To date I've had 3 rounds of Xiaflex. 3rd round was botched badly. Mild but very painful fracture and penis-length hematoma that lasted 3 months. Lost an inch and there was worsening of the curvature. Then had Plication due to the hinge defect created by Xiaflex. The curvature went from right side to left side. I lost 2 inches. It corrected the curvature by about 20 degrees (from 55 degrees) but the hinge defect remained and became the biggest issue. 3 weeks ago I had extra-tunical grafting which is supposed to act as a scaffold to allow the hinge defect to heal. What I don't get though is the surgeon placed the tutoplast above the hinge. The bottom edge of the tutoplast is around a quarter inch above the hinge so I'm not sure how that could possibly help. And the right side of the tutoplast is now wrinkling, like the top and bottom edges are trying to pull together. I brought these concerns to the surgeon who completely blew me off.

@@NovusCenters Thank you for the response. I was pressured into Xiaflex being assured by this Uro that my curvature would only get worse and stumbled into it blindly. I'd advise guys with Peyronie's to first read the REMS on that procedure and ensure the Uro follows it completely and stop the procedure immediately if he/she doesn't. For me the damage is done. The Tutoplast was incorrectly placed so it isn't even on the hinge defect. Some of these Uro people are fucking incompetent and evil.

Unbelievable what the makers of Xiaflex want for their drug. Hopefully insurance covers that. CRRRAAAAZY expensive. It's also completely ridiculous that one company can essentially buy the exclusive rights to an enzyme we've known about since the 1970s, thereby creating an artificial monopoly on this kind of thing. It's really anti-capitalistic ultimately. Our government is protecting their "right" to price gouge the living shit out of everything they can.
