The trick itself is pretty old, but I like how you explained how the maths worked. It is a long time since I went to school so written algebra equations just flummox me now.

To explain it more simply :- let take the no. as 'x' so, first you did (x*3) OR 3x.. then added 45=3x+45 then doubled it i.e.. 2(3x+45)= 6x+90 = 6(x+15) then you divided it by 6 ...ie. 6(x+15)/6 = x+15 then subtracted the no. thought of i.e.. x so, x+15-x=15 ...........this way we got 15

you can create limitless of that kind of tricks...Its so easy. Thats how this trick works: So "x" is your pick number. That's the equation {[(3*x+45)*2]/6}-x= =[(6*x+90)/6]-x= x+15-x=15 As I said you can creat limitless of that kind of equation,the only thing you have to do is to begin from then end. For example you want your final result to be number 5. So x-x+5=x+5-x=(4×+20)/4-x={[(2x+10)*2]/4}-x So if you pick a number and you double it, you plus 10 and double again, you divide by 4 and subtract with the number you pick, your result is going to be always 5. I am afraid no math teacher is going to tricked 😷

I am afraid i cant write it more analytical.. It is basic algebra. Firstly you pick the number you want to be your final result and thenyou just make calculation. For example your final number you want to be "10". An "x" is your pick number.. x+10-x=10 right? Then I multiple and divide "(x-10)" with the same number, lets say 6 (or any other number you want). So my equation is this now, [(x+10)*6/6]-x or (6x+60)/6-x, right? Or [(3x+30)*2)/6]-x. You can make iti even more complicated if you wish, but lets stop here. So describing my final equation we have that, if you pick any number and multiply by 3 ("3x"), then you plus 30 [(3x+30)], then you double this [(3x+30)*2], then you divide with 6 {[(3x+30)*2/]6} and then you subtract your original pick number {[(3x+30)*2]/6}-x the final result will be always 10

I prefer Tricklandia's version personally, not having kept up on my algebra! I agree, it wouldn't trick a maths teacher, but if it gets kids thinking more about how and why maths works rather than just following an equation on a calculator, that's got to be a good thing.

Ye, "this Trick will make you look like a math Genius"... but only if you haven't graduate to 2nd grade of primary school. I do like your card tricks but this mathematical things are just shit.. I don't have much knowledge about tricks however stuff like that is way too simple to be even considered interesting.
