Thank you for posting!!! You didn’t have the music (pet peeve of mind) obnoxiously loud and made sure we could see what you were doing! I appreciate the explanation as you go as well! Thank you!!

5:02 it’s pretty funny just how far to his left this dog manages to move his nose (not the snout, just the nose itself).

I can’t thank you enough for such explicit instructions!! I am a visual learner and struggling w/chemo brain so I truly appreciate your tutorial as I have a 10 yr old doodle who will not let me touch his paws! So if you mite have any helpful suggestions, plz let me know!

I am so glad it is helpful! I am a visual learner myself :) I would work on desensitizing the paws by touching everyday and giving treats!

What about the top of the muzzke coming down from his eyes? Dont you trim that area?

GREAT video!! So clear, concise, and descriptive. Thank you, my dog needs this done right now & I’ve been avoiding it bc I wasn’t sure how exactly. Now I feel more confident I could trim his face without making him look wonky. 👏🐩👍🤩

A couple things some people may find helpful! Your blades can get dull if your dog is dirty! So when grooming a face check that everything is sharp and that the fur is brushed and clean if you can. Dull blades make meaner cuts if you accidentally mis-snip. Thank you for the shaping help!! ❤ Edit: whoops! Additional question! Do you have suggestions for loops to use at home? The last groomer I paid burned my dogs sanitary with a hot clipper they didn’t check. I don’t want anyone to touch him again so a good set up at home is really what I need! Thank you 🙏

Hi! I learned about you on a Baxter and Bella podcast! Ordering your products now! Question- we would like to avoid creating the “mustache” on our doodle and create more of a “puppy cut” look. Can you provide a tutorial on this??? I have several friends who like the same look and it’s very hard to find a groomer who does it correctly! Thank you!

Hi Love this suggestion, absolutely we'll work on it. If you can send us a picture to hello@thepupwell.com to make sure we are doing exactly what you're asking that would be so helpful!

My pup won't stop moving her head when I try to groom her face! Even when I hold it. What should I do?
@MYaffaJ10 ай бұрын
same I tried holding her face and she kept moving anyways. I was able to cut little but couldn't finish around her eyes and bangs. wish there was a way to get her to stay still @pupwell.

Keep in mind that a dog’s nasal passages can get stuffed up just like a human’s can. Keep that in mind in you choose to hold the dog’s snout on both the top and the bottom. It may be best to get in the habit of only doing that hold for a few seconds at a time.

trust me he's a crazy dog, so we use discipline on him to make sure he listens good for his own good. for his safety and others. we tried doing it while he sleep but he has one damn good hearing even tho he has a big ol ears.
