Thank you! Just adopted a runt Kune Kune cross, 13lbs. Her back nails are too long. Very helpful, thank you!!!!

All my pig will drink is about 18 Oz and she’s done. Also, I’ve noticed that the alcohol really kicks in about an hour or so after she drinks it. She just gets sleepy and she doesn’t really care to have me trim her hooves. She tolerates it really well.

I use a Dremel and a drum sand bit at low power for my nails and it works quick and doesn’t heat up my nails, albeit at the lowest setting. Pigs have thicker nails, but I wonder if it would work for them and negate some of the hand tool steps. Regardless, appreciated your video, thanks!

Thanks! I have been wondering about using a drum sand paper bit setup but I want to use the kind with the 1/4 inch shank. The problem is that I only know of pneumatic grinders that have the 1/4" arbor and being that I do not have a compressor at my house I would need an electric tool with a 1/4" arbor. That being said the little 1/8" shank ones should work from now on since I'm regularly maintaining the pig's nails and not letting them overgrow as the previous owners did.

Pigs are so dramatic. I can’t understand how some of these pigs get such long feet, my pigs hooves are always naturally worn tidy.
