i have caught crappie on a 6" crank that i was trolling for Pike. The crappie were in singles on the lake bottom and never expected to catch them. Was super cool and fun.

*It wasn't "caught" on a 6" crank, it was snagged. Those nggas won't hit a lure that long unless it's a huge crappie,.e.g., 3 - 4lb fish*

Was the troling speed mentioned? Maybe I missed it.

I usually pull my crankbaits at 1.5 mph.

How far behind the boat? How fast? Thanks

60-90 ft, 1.5-1.7 seems to be sweet spot, for me anyways. I like pulling Bandit 300s mostly.

You’d think he’d use small plainer boards, I can’t tell you how many fish that boat’s probably spooking that he doesn’t know about

Planer boards would definitely help spread his coverage out plus just neater and more organized.
