Fuel: Starting Fluid (Flammable Aerosol Spray) Works best for both Hot and Cold conditions.
For peak performance, this product may require Trial & Error to get the fuel mixture just right.
Some weather conditions call for more or less spray, try an extremely small amount, or up to 2 quick bursts of spray for Starting Fluid.
Diagnose Misfires:

A bracket that holds the aerosol can on the side with a valve that can be opened and closed to introduce oxygen and the aerosol. Some sort of tube to hold some extra potatoes. A mesh between the tube and the refuel/ignition end to be able to put the potato all the way in. Hell maybe even a laser on it. Whatever you want really. Just try to think of ways to increase ease of use.
