Hi Amy. Great video with handy tips for troubleshooting. I think I'm going to run through this video again because I came across a few things that I need to make some notes on and be able to refer to when/if these issues arise. Thanks for sharing these tips.

Great tips, thnx! Another thing you can try for battling fungus gnats are beneficial nematodes in your water. Microscopic worms that attack the larvae. I did it once by treating all the plants and the gnats were completely gone for some time. Eventually they come back. Bottom watering your plants also helps a lot because the top soil isn't wet.

I found spidermites super easy to get rid of but YES thrips are such a nightmare! I tried home recipes (washing-up liquid, olive oil sprays, etc.) for over a year and a half and then gave up and bought little insecticide pills. :( Which worked! But def a last resort

I can't use pesticides on my plants, because I keep trantulas, a snake, and geckos. So hydrogen peroxide and alcohol are my best friends. I totally agree with Nick "The first year they sleep. The second year they creep. And the third year they leap." I has been that way with the majority of the plants in my 125+ house plant collection.
