My question is, do we have a scripture that says something about familiar spirit? 1 Samuel 28:1-3 clearly shows that Saul asked the spirit medium to talk with Samuel's ghost, and it happened as such, so can we now conclude that Saul didn't spoke to Samuel's ghost but to the familiar spirit? It seems contrary to the scripture because Saul did spoke to Samuel's ghost and it was a conversation between them, I advise that you thoroughly read this scripture for further enlightenment because according to the scripture Saul was able to communicate with the spirit of Samuel who was dead at that time.

Yes 👉Deuteronomy 18:10KJV There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. #selah In the case of Saul what state was he in when he went to consult the witch of Endor? He was fallen he was walking in disobedience... the voice of God was silent on him right?

@Th33_Comforter But still remains the question, do the dead speak because it's seems Samuel and Saul had a conversation there which is evident.

​@@nyashatamayi4972who was Samuel? would you compare his spirit to that of any other person in his time? Daniel over witches & wizards you remember? Remember Elisha what happened to the dead man who was thrown in his grave? You see you cannot use this scripture alone to encourage necromancy or consulting spirits of the dead as if all those people were in right standing with God...that's why in that verse up there God is telling us to refrain from such coz the line is too thin...I mean if spirits of divination being used by living false prophets are already misleading people why dive deeper into playing games with the spirits of the dead?
